Српска православна црква обиљежава празник Света три Јерарха, који се празнује заједнички у славу светитеља Василија Великог, Григорија Богослова и Јована Златоустог.

Празник је настао у 11. вијеку за вријеме византијског цара Алексија Комнина, након што је расправа о томе ко је од ова три светитеља највећи, која је пријетила озбиљној подјели у народу и Цркви.

Света три Јерарха код Срба славе богословски факултети и академије, осим београдског, који слави Светог Саву, а у Грчкој је ово национални и школски празник.
